Volkel and Turner Design, LLC was started in 2007 because of a love of event coordinating and attention to detail. Out of this came Icing on the Cake Events, a company dedicated to creating creative, elegant, functional events.
We specialize in weddings and company events, but also plan and organize any corporate events, fundraisers, private parties, banquets and the like. Icing on the Cake Events is determined to make every event a success. In the wedding industry, timing, coordination and function go hand in hand with the elegance and charm of every wedding.
Abby Turner, owner of Icing on the Cake Events, is devoted to the idea that a special event must go off as planned to everyone's smallest detail. Abby Turner is the owner of Icing on the Cake Events. She has lived in Montana for 18 years and in the Bozeman area for over 10 years. Abby graduated from Montana State University with a bachelor's degree in History and a minor degree in Japanese Studies. She has worked for event vendors in the Bozeman Area and has developed many relationships with business owners in the Bozeman Area. After planning her own wedding, and a few of her friend's, she decided to start Icing on the Cake Events so that she could earn a living doing what she loves. In her down time, Abby is a Girl Scout troop leader and enjoys the outdoors with her husband hiking, biking, camping, skiing, and traveling.
